Rollback (add request)

User:Njavallil

I have 571 edits in total. I'm mainly involved in recent changes and New pages so I think I need this tool to block bad users from wrecking wikipedia . Please Grant me this right if you are 99.999.....%(no one is perfect) happy at my edits. I hope that my request for Rollback be granted. Advance Thanks to the reviewer of this request --Njavallil ...Talk 2 Me 21:04, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would like rollback privileges in order to use Huggle. I have been doing some anti-vandalism work and would appreciate a break from a web browser. Also, I'm a bit of a software nerd. :-) Thanks! Rotorcowboy talk

Not done Although you have been around for two years, you only have 131 edits to mainspace, and I would like to see some significant vandal fighting - without special tools - before you use any tools of the Huggle kind. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 09:55, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:O'Dea

I occasionally run into a string of vandalistic edits that need to be reversed such as the five malicious edits by 109.255.176.57 at Enda Kenny today. I am a Veteran Editor, having performed 8,673 edits since I began contributing to Wikipedia in June 2004. — O'Dea (talk) 17:31, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

i have been fighting vandalism for a while, and recently i also helped to catch several sockpuppets. i have been cleaning the mess after them, and rollback privileges would certainly help in such matters  mustihussain  18:00, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. It appears you have recently engaged in edit wars, even if you were not blocked for violating 3RR (example last month). Please wait two months or so and then request again if you have the need. Malinaccier (talk) 18:10, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:Normandy

To assist with reverting of vandalism. I have had rollback in the past on en.wiki under an account (now unaccessible) and currently on simple.wiki under my current username. I have also been an administrator and bureaucrat on simple.wiki and know what vandalism is and how to deal with warnings. Not been greatly active under this account yet as had a problem with passwords but all resolved and will be restarting editing at a normal volume. Regards, Normandie 12:46, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done I was hesitant to do this without knowing whether you really were Kennedy, but your edits are correctly done, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Malinaccier (talk) 13:48, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To assist with reverting of vandalism using Igloo. I have had rollback in the past on en.wiki, as formerly I was a member of Wikipedia's Counter-Vandalism Unit. I've been actively involved in article creation, edits, and anti-vandal patrol on the English Wikipedia for almost 6 years now. Regards Stubbleboy 05:38, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. You have little to no recent experience fighting real vandalism here on Wikipedia. If you want the rollback tool, show us that you need it! Go to Special:RecentChanges and make 50 or so vandalism reverts, either with the undo function, or the userscript, Twinkle. Once you have done that, come back and request the tool again. -FASTILY (TALK) 07:26, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. Thanks for the feedback. Stubbleboy 18:44, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting rollback Robert Brockway (talk) 05:30, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have 3090 edits and have had an account since 21:49, 10 April 2004. I have been fighting vandalism since 2004 and would like the rollback option to allow me to do this more efficiently. Robert Brockway (talk) 05:30, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have 841 edits on Wikipedia, in total. I wish to revert wrong and unnecessary edits made to articles on Wikipedia. Hopefully, this request will be granted, by which I might responsibly contribute to Wikipedia in a better way. Thanks Jobin (talk) 07:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have just started to revert vandalism in articles. I have used the STiki tool for reverting vandalism. I want to use the huggle software for which I want the rollback right. Joydeep (talk) 15:22, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:Rm1271

Most of my 741 edits are related to reverting vandalism. I am requesting rollback to take what I am doing one step further. Rollback will also allow me to use Huggle and fight vandalism more effectively. Rm1271 talk to me 21:56, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
