Speedy deletion nomination of Varroc Engineering[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Varroc Engineering requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Best regards, Cindy(talk to me) 15:02, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:The official logo of Varroc Engineering Pvt. Ltd.png)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:The official logo of Varroc Engineering Pvt. Ltd.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:26, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

This is your for contributions on the article of Mary Kom, which was the collaboration of the month for June 2012 under WikiProject India. Thank you for your contributions and I look forward to seeing you in the July 2012 collaborations.

Happy editing, happy collaborating! :-) BPositive (talk) 06:26, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Unsatisfiable ref[edit]

Hi Jobin, Just to bring to your attention this ref. I just went through, and found it a very poor one indeed. Look at the page, the word one rupee has been written in various languages of south india, and clearly as we both are native speakers of Malayalam, you'll find a massive blunder right there. I find the publication poorly edited and would prefer that it be changed to a more reliable one. Your thoughts on this? Écrivain (talk) 20:58, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

whoops, I never gave attention to that, thanks for bringing it to my notice. The book seemed informative and concise to me, charming me the way local books do! Yes, its indeed not apt to cite it wiki. Will change it soon. Thanks again. Keep the good work going. JobinFire me here 06:06, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Simple Kapadia[edit]

Hi, what's up? About your this edit, it was a pen slip, thanks for catching! --Tito Dutta 09:31, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Cheers! Just followed my curiosity to whether Dimple had named "Simple" as her daughter, was ROFL for a while until I went to Simple Kapadia only to see what relations they shared. Kudos to you for giving me a great laugh ;-) JobinFire me here 06:00, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

Per our discussion in IRC, I have granted you IPBE Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 15:39, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. If you are still blocked, copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section. This is usually hidden within the "What do I do now?" section. If so, just click the "[show]" link to the right hand side to show this text.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. Max Semenik (talk) 13:49, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

IP block exempt[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 15:37, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Thank you, Shirik! Will be responsible while I edit. JobinFire me here 15:40, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Second marriage dot com[edit]

For some reason, user talk:Ankt7, who is the article's original author is editing 'his' page. I was reverting him right and left. I just figured out that he was the original editor and left him an apology. Not sure what he is up to. Also asked him to leave an edit summary. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:06, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

There seems to be something wrong, if that is the case. His account may have been hacked :/ The edits do not seem to be quite constructive. Anyways, I am leaving Second marriage dot com alone for the moment, if you wish. JobinWhat's up? 08:09, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
I have added it to my watch list to see if anything constructive shows up. Trying, for what it's worth to not bite the newbee... Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:12, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Inappropriate comment?[edit]

Hi, I don't know why my citation is inappropriate. I've got a copy of CD and I've indicated the information that was described as "citation needed". If in booklet is written that Gilmour sang back vocals why don't write that booklet is a source? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:34, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello! Firstly, please start a new section for a new discussion. Unfortunately you must mention the correct and complete information about the reference, if it is reliable. Although, you have mentioned it as a reference, it is not verifiable without you giving details of this. Please mention the whereabouts of the reference in detail hereon. Happy editing! Merger request[edit]

Merge request for List of computer viruses (all) page.[edit]

Hi, I can see that you have been editing the above page and was wondering what your thoughts would be on merging it with the List of computer viruses page.

Both articles are dealing with essentially the same subject, but have filtered their lists differently. The List of computer viruses (all) has a more complete "Notable viruses section", and I believe that by merging the two would be of enormous benefit.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. The talk page on this subject is as follows:

File:Dependency Graph for tgmath.jpeg listed for deletion[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Dependency Graph for tgmath.jpeg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:37, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

No issues, go ahead. I had prepared these files for tgmath.h which is no more an independent article but merged. Hence, it would hardly affect it. Thanks for your effort. Same is the reply for all the three files listed under my user name JobinWhat's up? 03:56, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Paraphrase tag[edit]

You tagged Washim with a close paraphrase tag, but I do not see any indication you have identified which sources were copied or paraphrased. Do you recall? It is challenging to work on a rewrite without knowing which sections are problematic.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 01:26, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I could not mention the sources that time and did not take up the issue at the talk page. You can easily make out that most part of the article has been copied from one or more sources, looking at the format and structure of the article. Just for your reference, have a look at this page:
Especially the paragraphs "Balaji Mandir" and the following in the History section have serious issues. JobinWhat's up? 04:02, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
