Confirmed

(add requestview requests)

User:ULTRASTAR123

I have made a lot of edits (55) and therefore I would like the confirmed userright. ULTRASTAR123| KABOOM! 14:42, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Is there something you want to do that requires confirmed status? You can currently edit over 95% of the 6,829,574 articles on Wikipedia. GB fan 14:48, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)In my opinion, this contributed substantially since creating the account. Reverting vandalism and reporting users. I believe this user should be granted confirmed status.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 15:50, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You will be autoconfirmed in <36 hours. -FASTILY (TALK) 23:32, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:Kumi-Taskbot

Does confirmation remove a user's contributions from Special:Contributions/newbies? If so, I think confirming this bot would be a great help for recent changes patrollers. Arctic Night 14:45, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Withdrawn per BWilkins advice. I wasn't aware of what happens re recent changes newbies - now I know. Thanks. Arctic Night 14:51, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting confirmed rights Kclbm4 (talk) 04:05, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have made over 10 edits and have had an account for a long time, so I am requesting a confirmed userright.

Already done You are already autoconfirmed. GB fan 04:14, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:Endtocyberbullying

As an non-profit organization writer, I would like to add more information to cyber bullying Wikipedia page. Endtocyberbullying (talk) 06:54, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) It seems that there might be a slight possibility of a potential conflict of interst here. I can't be certain, but his user name just doesn't seem right to me for what he wants to do. Sincerely, He's Gone Mental 10:33, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) I'm a little skeptic about this user as this user's only edit is this request. On a highly unrelated note, why is the Wikichecker not working properly?—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 20:57, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Could you please describe the edits you would like to make and list the page(s) you would like to edit? -FASTILY (TALK) 10:40, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If it's a single edit, an edit protected request is probably more appropriate, see Template:Edit protected. Snowolf How can I help? 19:23, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)This request is the user's only edit. There is no way to know if the user can be trusted.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 20:50, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I see no contribs on other wikimedia projects either [1]. Snowolf How can I help? 21:19, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:Ayaanahmed

I would like to add pictures of various Pakistani actors in the wiki 'list of Pakistani actors'. Thus i would like the permission to be a confirmed user so that i can add the pictures to the artists wiki profiles. Thanks! Ayaan 20:45, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
Question: Please describe the copyright status of the files you wish to upload. -FASTILY (TALK) 20:48, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)This user only has 1 edit as well. I'm skeptic and a little curious now that all three accounts are made in the same day and their only edits are to make a request to get confirmation.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 20:59, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
WP:AGF ... the same thing happens a lot around here. People try to edit an article, create a userid, and ask for confirmed (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:05, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Duly noted. I should probably keep in mind that I did that myself too. But the consecutive create an account and request confirmation on the first edit in one day is a little concerning considering that the usernames could possible have a resemblance to each other.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 21:34, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
