Rollback

(add requestview requests)

I've done a few anti-vandalism edits and I would like to have the rollback right to help me revert vandalism. ULTRASTAR123|KABOOM! 18:52, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done User has 200 edits and has been on wikipedia for 4 days. A longer time-frame, to allow for more familiarization with the policies and practicies should be required. Snowolf How can I help? 18:55, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think I've been around for long enough. Also, Igloo looks really nice. Hello71 (talk) 23:01, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
According to http://toolserver.org/~soxred93/pcount/index.php?name=Hello71&lang=en&wiki=wikipedia, 211 edits in Article-space. Hello71 (talk) 23:03, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And, apparently there's already an edit count in the request template. Nice. Hello71 (talk) 23:03, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've made almost 2500 edits since joining Wikipedia and a substantial amount of this comes from reverting or undoing edits by users who have vandalized articles. I think Rollback would be a great feature to use in such situations. Till I Go Home (talk) 08:27, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've been on Wikipedia for a few years and mention good faith when I think it's appropriate, but I often find myself reverting obvious vandalism. Reverting is not something I take lightly and i.m.o. improvement is often better than simply undoing, but still this should at times make things easier.  Skysmurf  (Talk) 22:59, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)You don't appear to contribute a lot per day. I was able to trace back over a month of contributions on 1 page. You don't have many vandalism reverts. I would suggest patrolling the Recent Changes page and fight a little more vandalism there. An administrator may give you the Rollback rights if they believe I may be in error.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 23:09, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done Cyberpower678, Skysmurf may not be a heavy contributor, but that in itself does not normally disqualify someone from being granted rollback: Skysmurf's reverts with the tools they currently have appear to be okay to me, and I have no problem granting them rollback. Acalamari 23:17, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I would like rollbacker privileges to further my anti vandalism operations, I understand that I have not been on wikipedia for a long period (9 days) but I believe that I have the maturity of someone who has been on longer. CynivalThou Shalt Talk to Me 03:06, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done 69 edits is not enough material for a fair evaluation of a user. Of these, almost half to the user namespace. There is simply no data whatsoever to base anything upon. Please engage in anti-vandalism with tools such as WP:TWINKLE before requesting rollback. Snowolf How can I help? 03:14, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I actually have 76, the edit counter is not working currently, but I understand.CynivalThou Shalt Talk to Me 03:22, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I patrol recent changes and new pages and I feel as though having rollback rights would be a nice bonus to my work here on wikipedia. It would certainly help in countering vandalism. RoyalMate1 09:25, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I granted you autopatrolled recently for your good work creating articles. But your claim to do new page patrolling is problematic: I don't see anything in the logs, the only log actions I see are from 2008 when you uploaded a file. I also see no evidence of any vandalism reversion in your contributions list or anything else to suggest you do recent change patrolling. Please don't take this as an insult, your new page contribution is fine. Admins generally are only willing to grant rollback here if they see evidence that the user has been active in anti-vandalism work so we can have some idea of what their actions so far have been like. —Tom Morris (talk) 10:42, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I undestand. Perhaps I used the term "patrol" too heavily, as I fix things when I see them. Thanks anyway, and I'll be sure to keep in mind what you've said. RoyalMate1 11:05, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
