Alexey Pivovarov (Russian: Алексей Пивоваров) (born 12 june 1974, Moscow) is a Russian Russian journalist working for NTV. He was involved in the 2011 Russian protests.[1] The news agency Reuters called him in a reportage "an unlikely opposition hero".[2] Alexey Pivovarov is married (wife Anna Schneider), he has a son Ivan.
