NFCC violation - fails NFCC criteria 8. The stated purpose of use is to serve "as the primary means of visual identification of the subject", however File:Simon Wicks.jpg is doing that job in the infobox. There's another non-free image of the character further down the article (File:Simon Wicks (1985).jpg) and also a perfectly serviceable free image of the actor in existence (File:Nick Berry in Canada.jpg). For context, this character appeared in EastEnders from 1985-1990. What this particular image is really doing is illustrating a 15 second cameo appearance he made last night. Readers' understanding of the topic is not going to be damaged by not having a visual of his 15 second appearance. Frickative 13:05, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would say that this picture does illustrate something that had significant media coverage on the day it occured, and Berry's appearance has changed enough that the other pictures in the article can't be said to represent the same thing. It is also, correct me if I'm wrong, Berry's first TV appearance in about ten years. Not in the infobox, absolutely, but alongside the commentary of his cameo return it serves a purpose.
