DOB

If Danny O'Donoghue was born in 1983, he would have been just 13 when Mytown released their first album! He was born in 1980. This is present on both IMDB and discogs.com Heggyhomolit (talk) 02:27, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008

After having reverted some recent edits that looked like vandalism, I see there does seem to be some confusion here - the article mixes up claims that Danny O'Donoghue is Irish/German, and a musician/porn star. I can't see a clean past version that goes either way (and I can't find any reference to a porn star called Danny O'Donoghue), so I'm going to revert it to the new (musician) version, and hope someone can help here. OK Folks, I've found the last good version - it was 22:39, 6 November 2008 Pharaoh of the Wizards - and I've reverted it. Hi. Seems to be quite a bit of confusion as to how old Danny actually is. One moment I go onto wikipedia and he is listed as being born in 1980- and the next moment (and currently) he is listed as being born in 1983. Big difference..The date of birth seems consistent- October 3..

Looking at evidence, Party all night was a hit in Ireland and UK in the Spring of 1999. If he was born in Oct 1983- that would make him 15 when the record came out in these Irelands. Which I doubt. I know the official website for the Script lists him as 25 (making him born in 1983) but could this be to make him more attractive to younger women? He is eye candy after all. It's quite common for "new artists" to have their age lessened by a number of years only for truth to come out later. Sinead from Bwitched and Anasacia spring to mind Interestingly, on the script official website- on the main pages, his Mytown days are not directly referred to. Why? What is there to hide? Most fans know his associaiton.

His internet movie database entry lists him as being born in 1980- which I think is more realisitic

Just a couple of corrections. Danny is not from Dublin City Centre but actually from South Dublin, Ballinteer to be exact. He attended St Benildus College in Kilmacud. Mark is infact from the City Centre but the two met when Mark was a dance instructor teaching Hip Hop Dance classes in Ballinteer, which Danny attended. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.199.128.156 (talk) 14:13, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article reads like it was copied and pasted from an Interview with Danny, the quotations from him aren't referenced - example: "That was pulling on my heart strings in a big way," admits Danny. "Lyrically it was pouring out of me." - Who did he admit this to??
