Camp Cherry Valley is a summer camp on Catalina Island, California, that is operated by the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. It is located two coves north of Two Harbors at Cherry Cove. The camp is known for its Boy Scout use, but other groups use it as well. This camp is by the ocean allowing snorkling and scuba diving. Scouts sleep in walled, two pesron canvas tents set on wooden platforms that are under grove of cherry trees (hence the name). There is a small silver mine located in the cove left from the time the western part of Catalina Island was full of such mines, and tours of the mine can be provided. There are commisioners where a group of troops are assigned to a commisioner. Duffel bags are required to bring to Camp Cherry Valley because of the boat transport there.
