Mariusz Wach, (born December 14, 1979 in Kraków, Poland) better known as The Viking, is a Polish professional boxer. He is current WBC International heavyweight title holder and is ranked #8 heavyweight by WBC.[1]
On 7 August 2011 Wach defeated Kevin McBride by knockout in 4 round to win WBC International heavyweight title.
On March 24, 2012, Wach faced Tye Fields (49-4, 44 KO) from United States. The event took place at the Resorts Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey and got coverage form ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Wach won the fight by TKO in round 6, and defended his WBC International heavyweight title.
