I would like to request rollback privileges. Recently, I have been responding to vandalism on the University of Hawaii page, and I think that it would be much easier to do so---as the vandalism continues---if I had the privilege. I think you will see after reviewing the article's history--that my contributions as such evidence my ability to judge the appropriateness of claims relative to sources provided. (Non-administrator comment) Only three edits to the University of Hawaii page (which did not concern the removal of obvious vandalism) combined with highly conservative use of the edit summary (56% for non-minor edits) conspire to make identifying this users' counter-vandalism experience difficult. Hi Pol430! Thanks for looking into my request. The University of Hawaii article and the University of Hawaii at Manoa article (the former I forgot to include in my original post) have recently been protected due to the vandalism. I would encourage you to look at my contributions to University of Hawaii at Manoa, in this regards going back to late February (considering as well that some of my contributions were rollbacked by others in the process of rolling back the actual vandalism). I was watching recent changes this morning for vandalism (I do it occasionally now and then), and was getting annoyed by how long it was taking me to fix damage to make sure I got it the way it was before the vandalism. Getting revert permissions would help my speed and accuracy. I've been on WP for around 5 years, most of my contributions are as a reviewer for Featured Pictures, but I also do some gnoming in my spare time. Clegs (talk) 10:34, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have been using Twinkle for some time, and I have been regularly patrolling my watch-list and actively reverting vandalism/improper edits. I believe I am decently experienced in making good judgement calls when reverting edits; although I am aware about various wikipedia policies, I usually use common sense/reasoning to judge when to make corrective reverts.
