Rollback

(add requestview requests)

Reason for requesting rollback Dalisays (talk) 22:56, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request rollback privileges. Recently, I have been responding to vandalism on the University of Hawaii page, and I think that it would be much easier to do so---as the vandalism continues---if I had the privilege. I think you will see after reviewing the article's history--that my contributions as such evidence my ability to judge the appropriateness of claims relative to sources provided. Dalisays (talk) 22:56, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Only three edits to the University of Hawaii page (which did not concern the removal of obvious vandalism) combined with highly conservative use of the edit summary (56% for non-minor edits) conspire to make identifying this users' counter-vandalism experience difficult. I can't see any. Pol430 talk to me 17:59, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Pol430! Thanks for looking into my request. The University of Hawaii article and the University of Hawaii at Manoa article (the former I forgot to include in my original post) have recently been protected due to the vandalism. I would encourage you to look at my contributions to University of Hawaii at Manoa, in this regards going back to late February (considering as well that some of my contributions were rollbacked by others in the process of rolling back the actual vandalism). Dalisays (talk) 05:26, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please point to some specific reverts? I couldn't find any. Thanks. Acalamari 08:40, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Looking at your contribs, the only thing I can see is reverts on two or three pages. None of which are the University of Hawaii, on the 4th of this month. I only looked in your recent 500 edits, but you seem to do most/all of your work at AFC which wouldn't required the need for rollback. Mrlittleirish 10:26, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done (stale request). If you still require these permissions, please submit a new request and ensure you respond to the question by Mr Little Irish and Acalamari. Thanks, AGK [•] 15:23, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know I look very new, but I have been contributing as an IP for 5 months. Yet my IP contribs are not showing! As an IP I could only undo, but now I have tried out the "rollback" with twinkle and think I am ready for it. It is very useful when I want to undo more then 1 change at the same time. Deathlaser (talk) 14:12, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) I only made an ac to use twinkle and other cool tools. Anyway, are you going to give rollback then.--Deathlaser (talk) 15:57, 10 April 2012 (UTC) User has edited every day since the 5th, has under 250 edits. Majority of edits are welcome templates on new users accounts. Not all undo actions explained. Mrlittleirish 15:51, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment)If you log out and then click this link you will be able to see your IP contributions.--Gilderien Talk|Contribs 15:59, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So done or not done. By the way that special link was very helpful, thank you.--Deathlaser (talk) 21:27, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment)If you click on the link, and then wikilink to that page here, an admin will be able to see your past reversions and edits.--Gilderien Talk|Contribs 09:11, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How does my IP keep on changing - every week the last 2 numbers keep changing. Who keeps changing my IP like that.--Deathlaser (talk) 14:06, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yout ISP (Internet Service Provider) doesn't assign you a static IP - You could contact them and request a static IP. Or, you could stay signed in, show that you make some good revert edits under your username, and then apply for Rollback. Keep up the good work. Mrlittleirish 14:10, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I will come back when I have a few more undo's.--Deathlaser (talk) 14:38, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have recently been using Stiki, can you please check my recent reverts and tell me if I am assuming too much good faith.--Deathlaser (talk) 13:16, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Already done confirmed by KingpinBot (talk · contribs) (this user currently has the rollbacker right. Admins: remember to use a {{done}} template or alternative so the bot knows what the intended result is) - KingpinBot (talk) 10:15, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I frequently check newly edited pages to ensure the changes are legit. If they are not, then I do revert them back to the previous version - to ensure that this site can be utilized with the most accurate information. swinquest (talk) 15:50, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I originally granted this, but I'm unhappy with some edits that could be construed as edit warring, so for the time being I'm afraid not. Pedro :  Chat  16:12, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Done per detailed review and explanation around perceived "edit warring". Pedro :  Chat  17:09, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Vandalism cleanup, "undo" is such a chore. Pyrope 15:59, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have been very active on Wikipedia for some time and I want to use the Rollback feature to revert vandalism with multiple edits. Astros4477 (talk) 21:08, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I love helping Wikipedia, and fighting spam/tagging articles, etc. I think that rollback would be a great way for me to increase edit efficiency, and I ask you to please grant me this permission... While I don't have a huge number of edits, I've been trying hard to keep Wikipedia clean. Thanks so much for your consideration! Theopolisme (talk) 03:12, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've been here about a year and a half; just realized it would have come in handy reverting vandalism at Gwyneth Paltrow. I think I have a track record of responsible editing and I'm aware rollback is for vandalism only. Joefromrandb (talk) 03:36, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
