  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:33, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would like this account to be confirmed, due to the fact that my 'So, Meet You In Heaven' page needs a picture of the book cover so my wattpad fans will be able to view the story. It will always help them identify the story and it's really the THING that stands out the most on the page. MagentaIsle (talk) 08:02, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am working on an official biography for Quebec singer and songwriter Ian Lee and I would like to be able to upload a couple of images in order to illustrate aspects of his art and career. Thank you very much in advance for your help. Asouadangel (talk) 21:05, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done as the "article" is still in draft mode in your sandbox, there is no ability to upload images to it. Should it eventually meet wikipedia requirements and be placed in articlespace, you can upload images then. Note: I'm not sure what you mean by "official biography " but you should read about wp:COI. I am working on an article for ARCTIC, a company for computer hardware and consumer electronics products and I would like to further polish the article by adding a section called Logos which would list the logos which have been used by the company, but unfortunately I couldn't find relevant image files on wikipedia. It is rewarding to make my editing published for wiki readers. Please kindly consider confirming my account, thank you. Sachreeko (talk) 02:34, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have been updating wikipedia pages for years, but would like to now add images to a few pages. Didn't realize I needed to be logged in during my edits to become a "confirmed" account. Please shoot with questions.

What articles do you want to add pictures to? What is the copyright status of the pictures you want to upload? Have you read our Image use policy? GB fan 03:07, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Cdkcurtis, you need but one edit and you'll be Autoconfirmed (an OK posted here would take care of that :P) Mlpearc (powwow) 18:00, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am working on creating a page for the Society for Scholarly Publishing and would like to upload the society's logo as the primary means of visual identification for the society among it's members and others within the scholarly and learned publishing industry. The logo is copyright to SSP though is made available for promotional purposes as long as the image is not altered of the colors changed. The image may only be used at the top of the article written about the Society and for no other purposes. The image is provided to me, the author of the article, as a member of the SSP marketing committee with the intent that it will be added to the official Wikipedia entry. For details of my credentials as a member of the SSP Marketing Committee please see: https://www.resourcenter.net/Scripts/4Disapi2.dll/4DCGI/committees/Roles.html?Action=Show_Comm_Roles&CommCode=SSP**SSPMARK&Name=Officers&Status=Active&

I can not get that to work (I can't find the appropriate way to upload a company logo), any chance you can do it for me or give me permission to do it myself? Many thanks 15:05, 25 May 2012 (UTC)~

Not done If the file is in the public domain you can upload the file to the Commons. That is our free image repository. You do not need any special permissions to upload there and you can use the same username and password to log in. If the file is not public domain you need to wait until the article you are writing is in the article space to upload the image. GB fan 15:20, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The photo of Trayvon Martin is exceedingly biased. Showing him with gold teeth is an attempt to make Trayvon look like a thug. There are plenty of updated photos available that could be used. Dwash01 (talk) 05:17, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am an alum from Fremont High in Oakland California and have been working there for the past 4 years. I was commissioned to create a brochure and logo for the upcoming consolidation of the Fremont Federation back into Fremont High. I'd like to update the wiki page with our school history and upload the official logo. I have been doing research on the school and would like to help in making it as accurate as possible. I have been asked by the Chairman of the Trollope Society [1] to write and upload an article about the Trollope Society into Wikipedia. Such an article does not yet exist. The article intends to provide the history and objectives of the Society and provide references to the many Wikipedia articles on Anthony Trollope that already exist. There are also references to the Trollope Society in these articles but without a Wikipedia article on the Trollope Society these references cannot be linked up. I am currently working on the page of retired sociology professor Ira Reiss. I was hoping to upload a photograph of him, that was given to me by his former department. I requested this earlier, before I had completely finished editing the page. I was told I significantly lacked third party sources (which was completely correct at that point it time). Since then I have added nearly 20 outside, third party, scholarly sources and was hoping to gain permission to add the photograph. Acasey201 (talk) 21:04, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
