  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:33, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would like this account to be confirmed, due to the fact that my 'So, Meet You In Heaven' page needs a picture of the book cover so my wattpad fans will be able to view the story. •  Not done as the "article" is still in draft mode in your sandbox, there is no ability to upload images to it. Should it eventually meet wikipedia requirements and be placed in articlespace, you can upload images then. Note: I'm not sure what you mean by "official biography " but you should read about wp:COI. I have been updating wikipedia pages for years, but would like to now add images to a few pages. Didn't realize I needed to be logged in during my edits to become a "confirmed" account. Please shoot with questions.

What articles do you want to add pictures to? What is the copyright status of the pictures you want to upload? Have you read our Image use policy? GB fan 03:07, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am new to Wikipedia uploading file system, so the terms and regulations were mostly unknown to me. But, I have a project due tonight and for this project, I have to upload my article on your website. So, would you please allow me to upload my file on Wikipedia by confirming my account as soon as possible. Thank you.

I being a history nerd recently read John McCain's memoirs and am dying to beef up his wikipedia page with sorely missed and for historical prosterity badly needed wartime accounts and key expierences but the page is Semi-protected probably for good reason but the article could be improved sooner if I am granted this permission which is needed for me to editCotton Rogers (talk) 02:20, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have been asked by the Chairman of the Trollope Society [1] to write and upload an article about the Trollope Society into Wikipedia. Such an article does not yet exist. The article intends to provide the history and objectives of the Society and provide references to the many Wikipedia articles on Anthony Trollope that already exist. There are also references to the Trollope Society in these articles but without a Wikipedia article on the Trollope Society these references cannot be linked up. I was looking to change a simple wording issue (1 word: to add clarity) that would not require any format changes or complex alteration issues at all. The idea of looking for 10 other things to edit just to do that did not seem fair. I do understand and respect your expectation that people new to editing WIKIPEDIA (like myself) would get experience on non semi-protected items 1st before doing anything even the least bit complex, so we do not cause other issues or changes in a page.; I George.c152 (talk) 14:20, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to share a photograph I own. I copyrighted it because the last photo I shared, via commons, was stolen and used commercially.
