TedderBot annotations

I remember inquiring a while back about whether or not the bot could leave the front or back of each line alone so that I could mark items as unrelated. I think another user was marking items checked as well. Just wondering if that was coming along or stalled. Thanks!--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 19:35, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keeping this active. Yeah, I've made some progress towards enabling this, but it isn't ready. Remind me if you haven't heard back by October. tedder (talk) 02:48, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick reminder. I haven't been adding the annotations to the NRHP list until this is added. There are a few on there that I would like to be able to tag, but I understand the complexity of it. Just checking! Keep up the good work!--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 18:32, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

zautos.com spam

The latter may simply be a good-faith inclusion. Hoping someone with detective skills can look for relationships here. tedder (talk) 01:14, 12

I'P's are certainly related, seems more outsourced SEO? classicbands.com needs looking into. seems there's quite a few, and the few "interviews" i saw are from other sources --Hu12 (talk) 00:01, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

I hope you enjoy your witch hunt :) I also posted the links on Billy Stewart "553 F. 2d 130 - Stewart v. Ford Motor Company". openjurist.com. ^ Settlement. Encyclopedia of Dead Rock Stars. Links on Sal Montagana ^ "Six arrested in Montagna slaying". Montreal Gazette. Quite a few on Hurricanes (I'm a retired pilot) and many others, all stuff I love to read about.(cars-mafia-flying related)

Re Billy Stewart all that was there was: Stewart died in a car accident the following January, just two months prior to his 33rd birthday.

It took me about 30-40 hours ( 1)there are a lot of Billy Stewarts 2) hard finding very old newspaper stories) to find all that I added: The accident happened when the Ford Thunderbird Stewart was driving approached a bridge across the Neuse River. Stewart's car left the highway, ran along the median strip at a slight angle to the highway, struck the bridge curbing, and plunged into the river, killing Stewart and his three passengers instantly. The car had been purchased only 12 days before and had been driven only 1,400 miles before the accident occurred. The first trial was won by Ford Motor Company, but on appeal the court ruled that the trial court's refusal to give the requested jury instructions was in error and ordered the case reversed and remanded.[1] The case was then settled out of court.[2] Do you think I did that for seo for open jurist? (or the Montreal Gazette) A little more work and you will also find I am "The Umbrella Man http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umbrella_Man_%28JFK_assassination%29 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.101.66.2 (talk) 19:24, 16 June 2012 (UTC) [reply]

I'll reply at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#orangecoastdentrepair.com.2C_maybe_others.3F. Generally it's best to keep a discussion in one place, not three. tedder (talk) 22:54, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Astoria–Megler Bridge

If you looked closer, whoever wrote 14 miles is clearly the one who is incorrect. The original editor cited source number 3 which states 4.1 miles. I simply fixed the typo. The page should be reverted to my edit. My apologies for not originally making note of this in the edit summary. 76.115.17.75 (talk) 02:24, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the details. I agree, and I just looked at it on a map to verify. It was hard to tell without the edit summary. tedder (talk) 02:48, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jonah Mowry salted?

Is Jonah Mowry (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) salted? I guess that's the reason the option to create the page isn't available. Seeing that this person remains a steady focus of mainstream media attention I would like you to open this title up for editing. I'm not planning to edit it myself, but I'm sure others will have a go at it, people who might not know how to address the salt situation. __meco (talk) 18:09, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi- yes, it's salted, as it was being created and was well in violation of WP:BLP. The best thing to do is to create it in userspace or WP:AFC, it can be moved to mainspace if it passes BLP. tedder (talk) 18:15, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just figured it might be a more flexible solution to simply unsalt it. There are so many mainstream sources at this time for this YouTube celebrity that the BLP issues are less likely to be a major problem. __meco (talk) 20:51, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I'll unsalt and watch. The issue wasn't sources, it was more about negative information. tedder (talk) 21:06, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin James minor edit

I accidentally added information and considered it to be a minor edit. However, I included a link and added information of which is considered a standard edit. The reason for the edit was to further clarify Mr. James' definition of (political) transperancy, which occured at LAMC (wiki link provided for further user research as to actual events). Thank you, I am relatively new to this. _bhughes1 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:44, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem- you're a new editor, you did 99% of things right. Let me know if you need more help. tedder (talk) 18:46, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tedderbot not archiving

I'm not sure if the archive feature was turned off, but in the archives to the new articles alert for the Canada Roads Wikiproject, there is nothing beyond mid-July 2011... - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 13:08, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Holy Land Rewrite

I included the original sources in the rewrite. They were incorporated in to the rewrite. The original article was very dated and originally poorly constructed. I did attempt to follow wiki guidelines for NPOV, but just added new copy, updated info on the park and a few new sources. If the article needs more improvement, please advise. Happy to discuss and have consensus. Thanks.72.64.105.56 (talk) 18:24, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
