Canyon Ridge Middle School is a Junior High School based in Austin, Texas. It serves the Steiner Ranch Development, along with Laura Bush Elementary, Steiner Ranch Elementary and Vandegrift High School. As a result of higher and higher enrollment at the school, Four Points Middle School was created. Canyon Ridge Middle School was ranked as the #3 public middle school in Austin by Children at Risk in 2012.

Fine Arts
Band
Canyon Ridge heads a fine band program. The Bands include:
- A 6th Grade Beginner Band, with instrument-specific lessons.
- Concert Band an entry-level band open to 7th and 8th Graders,
- Symphonic Band the middle-level band open to 7th and 8th Graders, who is open to district competitions along with Honor Band.
- Honor Band is the highest-level band, who usually represents the school in special events providing the other bands do not represent the school as well.
The School's band program holds concerts at Vandegrift High School.
Choir
The Canyon Ridge Choir is separated into four choirs. These choirs include:
- 6th grade mixed includes choir members of both genders and introduces choir basics.
- Men choir for both 7th and 8th grade boys.
- Junior Varsity open to 7th and 8th graders who are either new to choir, or did not make varsity choir.
- Varsity Treble Choir highest level choir, who usually represents the school in special events. This choir is for 7th and 8th graders who auditioned and made Varsity choir, but mostly consists of 8th graders.
The School's choir program holds most concerts at Vandegrift High School.
