About Slender man

I just changed the "slender man" description from cryptid to boogeyman-like creature. I have only cursory knowledge of this entity, but it doesn't seem like it's actually researched by any scientists (real or alleged) as possibly existing. (Please link if I am wrong. That would certainly be... interesting...) It would be especially strange, because the descriptions I read weren't entirely clear on that matter, but it seems it has been made up not that long ago by someone at the Something Awful Forums and it's as much a pop and internet-cultural mash-up as a monster. 89.132.118.181 (talk) 07:26, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

Slender (disambiguation)Slender – "(disambiguation)" is not needed when the main Slender page is just a redirect, as per WP:PRECISION. —C. Raleigh (talk) 20:42, 26 July 2012 (UTC) C. Raleigh (talk) 20:42, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. The primary meaning of "slender" is the adjective describing slenderness. The only other actual match on the page is a comparatively very minor video game, the other two listings being partial title matches, of questionable value to a disambiguation page in the first place (I doubt there are sources wherein a "slender man" is referred to merely as being "a slender" or "the slender"). bd2412 T 18:54, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
