Zulfiya Chinshanlo (Kazakh: Зүлфия Чиншанло; Russian: Зульфия Чиншанло; Chinese: 赵常宁, born July 25, 1993) is a Kazakhstani weightlifter. She set a world record in the clean and jerk on July 29, 2012 at the 2012 London Olympics by lifting 131 kg.[1][2] Zulfiya is an ethnic Dungan, a non-Kazakh ethnicity related to Muslim Chinese and speaking a Chinese dialect (Dungan language) as their first language; hence her Muslim last name, Chinshanlo, which appears to be a combination of her last and given Chinese names Zhao Changning (赵常宁).[citation needed]
