About me

[edit]

I've been a long term reader of Wikipedia but never a contributor. I've decided to join because of my frustration with poorly written articles. I expect that the majority of my contributions will be as a member of the Grammar and Spelling Police, but I also get irritated by clumsy phrases, NPOV violations and missing (or dodgy) citations.

I have an unusually wide range of interests and experience. My areas of expertese are music and computer science, but I have knowledge and skills in many other areas including education, disability, politics, physics, philosophy, religion and more.

I am firmly anarchist, and believe in encouragement rather than enforcement. I tell the truth as I see it, and am willing to be corrected when I'm wrong. However I also have pretty poor social skills, so please forgive me when I inevitably offend somebody.
