Devita Saraf (देवीता सराफ in Devanagari) is the founder and CEO of Vu Technologies.[2][3] She is previously worked as the Director of Marketing at Zenith Computers.[4] In 2006, India Today named her as one of the top 25 most powerful women in India[2][5]. Personal background

Devita Saraf was born on 25 June 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[6] She is the daughter of Rajkumar Saraf, chairman and CEO of Zenith Computers.[7]

Saraf attended Queen Mary School, Mumbai. She later attended the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics and the University of Southern California, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2003. She studied game theory and strategic thinking at the London School of Economics.[5]

Professional background

Saraf started her career at age 16,[5] when she was trained by her father at Zenith Computers and was named as the Director of Marketing when she was 21.[3][8]

Vu Technologies

In 2006, Saraf launched Vu Technologies, where she developed a variety of products including Intelligent televisions, waterproof LCDs, car televisions, video walls, LED,[9] LCD,[10] 3D camera[11] and touch-screen products.[12]
