Requests for registration
Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.
Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.
Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *
. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.
{{AWBUser|your username}}

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add

Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.
If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

- Majority of edits are reverts, what do you want to do with AWB? (I seem to have asked this question before, and no I have not seen 400 non revert edits yet) Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:25, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, will do. Mdann52 (talk) 18:27, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
Not done by Graeme Bartlett, user took the 400 non-revert edits as a not done. Mysterytrey 21:44, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Honestly I think that I don't need to provide a reason having done more than 500 mainspace edits and having sufficient editing knowledge. Anyways, I intend to use AWB for AutoTag,ErrorHandler,ListComparer and obviously for typo fixing.HARSH-TALK- 09:36, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- The edit counter shows 367 mainspace edits. Tat would explain why you got the question. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:10, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
So that means my request is rejected. But I need to know why does anyone need to have 500 mainspace edits to get AWB? Does it mean that using AWB is so complex that some users are just incapable of understanding it? Sorry if you think my query is too foolish or is posted in the wrong place.HARSH (talk) 16:42, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- This is a fresh request. 9 days have past since my request earlier. I've made more than 500 mainspace edits till now and also got the rollback permission due to my work on vandal reversion. HARSH (talk) 13:57, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately rollback edits do not count towards the total. Request is not yet rejected though. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:04, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

. But trust me, I am committed towards working constructively on Wikipedia. I don't think I need more experience for having AWB. Harsh (talk) 12:23, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

- InferKNOX (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I am working to steadily improve the quality of taijiquan articles & think this app may help me avoid using a browser, which can be a bit unstable, etc. I'm not looking to do mass edits, I just think it may help to have an alternative editing tool. ~ InferKNOX (talk) 18:11, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

- Dainomite (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I often find myself contributing to random articles for now (haven't found my niche yet) and access would greatly enhance my capabilities bettering Wikipedia. I'm very familiar already with AWB, having used AWB elsewhere for just about a year now. Another example is here where I was asked to help out on another wikia by performing a lot of repetitive/mundane tasks. (I'm RogalDorn on wikia and Dainomite here). I made my WP account over a year ago but started contributing more this summer. I understand if I don't get user rights due to my low edit count but I thought I would ask because I would certainly make good use of it. Thank you daintalk 16:24, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

- Threeohsix (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email)I need AWB because I give some gramatical errors. 16:43, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
