Network switch vs. multilayer switch

I did some cleanup in network switch, then went to multilayer switch and became confused at a level beyond that of mere switch versus router (or bridge). Again, I really think we need to reduce the number of articles dealing with marketing terms, and have a relatively small number of terms that lead to one another. I would like to see a content switching expert become involved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hcberkowitz (talkcontribs)

August 2011

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to W. V. Grant, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. TeapotgeorgeTalk 16:50, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiability always trumps personally perceived "Truth". This is one of the most fundamental precepts upon which Wikipedia operates. If editors disagree personally then they are free to start their own blog and entertain the world with their own personal view, but as long as their arguments consist of nothing more substantial than their own point-of-view and original research, these arguments cannot fail to be disregarded. I know this may seem counter-intuitive, but it's how we work. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:05, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at W. V. Grant, you may be blocked from editing. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:29, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at W. V. Grant, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:01, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I personally believe I did nothing wrong. You guys are just TOO much, neutral point of view? Give me a break. akc9000 (talk contribs count) 20:55, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at W. V. Grant, you may be blocked from editing. Your continued attacks on a third party detract from the quality of this article. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:43, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Are you finding the actions of other editors somewhat subjective and heavy handed?

Hello Akc9000, I have noticed that you have he some troublsome dealings with User:Dayewalker. I myself have crossed paths with the aforementioned walker and am really having a difficult time engaging him in discussion prior to him revediting or his wholesale removal of content. Thus far all my attempts at civil discourse seem to only drive him towards a silly edit-war that helps no one and is such a bummer for all involved.

If you have the time please look over our recent exchanges and share any thoughts you may have.

All the best! BespokeFM (talk) 05:34, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
