Buried In Verona is an Australian metalcore band from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, formed in 2007. In 2008 they recorded their first album, Circle the Dead, with Australian producer DW Norton. Their second album, Saturday Night Sever was recorded and produced by Fredrik Nordström at his studio Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden.[2][3]

The singer Brett Anderson has also featured in a song made by the Swedish band Solitude called "Last Division".[4]

Buried In Verona have toured with the likes of Bermuda, The Amity Affliction, Wish for Wings, Never See Tomorrow, British India, Whitechapel, Furcurve, Coma Lies, Evergreen Terrace, Resist the Thought, Soilwork, The Devil Wears Prada, The Haunted, Pierce the Veil, Silent Screams, Escape the Fate and Confession. Their sound can best be described as a mix of hardcore, metalcore and death metal.[5]

Buried in Verona has featured in the "Top 25 Bands to Look Out For" list in both the December 2009 and December 2010 editions of Blunt Magazine.[6]

On 20 July 2011 Buried In Verona announced on their official Facebook page that they had parted ways with members Mick Taylor and Kat Chituta. This led to Sean Gynn, formerly of the Sydney band Azlock to become a permanent replacement for guitar as well as Nate Martin who would also be taking on guitar for the band. Daniel Gynn is currently in the place of Scott Richmond as bass guitarist owing to a hand injury.

In 2011, the band announced plans for a new album, Notorious, which was released in 2012.[7] It is being recorded once again in Studio Fredman with Fredrick Nordström.
