Wrong to say Northern Irish band
Removed reference to them belonging to Northern Ireland. They are not all from Northern Ireland, and the band formed and resides in Scotland. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.101.129.157 (talk) 16:50, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Northern Irish
Why do a small group of people use that term,it has sectarian tone to it.It is Irish. If you come across people from England for example, and one is born in York for example that person will not call themselves Northern English. It is absurd —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.76.114.93 (talk) 13:47, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- The people of Northern Ireland might have something to say about that. They're sort of pretty adamant that they AREN'T Irish and have been known to get pretty violent over the issue. Comparing it to York is silly, York is a city, Northern Ireland is an actual country. --81.109.72.78 (talk) 19:33, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
