Eduardo Alejandro Lago Correa is a physical tough central defender from Uruguay, who's currently playing for SK Brann. He made his debut on the Uruguaian national football team and won bronze medals in Copa Libertadores with his club Peñarol in 2003. In 2005, Lago was bought to the Norwegian club Rosenborg B.K. together with his contryman Sebastián Eguren in 2005. The stay was not a success for the two players, and in January 2006 they were both loaned out ot SK Brann, who also has a preemption on the two players.

On February 8 it was revealed in a shocking newsrelease, that the transfer of the two Uruguayans (Lago and Sebastián Eguren) were cancelled, due to "psychological reasons."

Currently he is on loan to Bella Vista.
