i'm not a wiki-pro or anything so i'm not going to change the actual article but i noticed a mistaken fact on wolf. specifically who he was named after - Eddie mentioned in a october 2005 radio interview "I named my son after the pizza guy wolfgang puck, amadeus puck" whoever wrote that wolf was named after the musician is either mistaken or eddie was full of shit (he was noticably drunk in the interview) look into it and get it fixed RASS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.209.107.57 (talk) 03:15, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
I removed this
Wolfgang has many aliases. Most often he chooses to go by "Wolfie" (see above). However, it is well known that he sometimes chooses to be called "Wolfram" (pronounced VOOL-FRUM), "Belly," "Vulfie," "Santa," "Willy-Billy from Halen," "Mental Balloon Van Halen," "Tits Van Halen," "True Love Van Halen," and many others.
as it seems utterly ridiculous and I can't find anything to verify it. If you can find a source to verify this, feel free to include it again. Alexforcefive 23:00, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
HEY ALEXFORCELIES... it's all true. ask the Master, or as we say in Ghana, ask "Wubby," before you tell me this isn't true.

but it's true. seriously, it's all an inside joke with his friends at school. He has a lot of nicknames.

Also removed:
He also weighs about 100X more than his father.
Statements regarding weight should include specific (or at least closely approximate) weight, or if unavailable, a less subjective statement about the individual's build such as "obese" rather than "weighs about 100X more than". If someone can find a reliable source for his weight, or a genuine photo of Wolfgang, that would be welcome. However, statements such as the above are highly unacceptable for a Wikipedia article.) -- K1darkknight 23:10, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Also, if there is a template/flag that can be placed on the article to flag it as something along the lines of "watch for vandalism" without actually locking the article itself, this should be considered, as this is not the first inappropriate comment that has been placed in the article. -- K1darkknight 23:13, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
WTF?!?!?!?
Well I saw the show in greensboro and heard no fricking bass. Why is that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Heavythehobbit (talk • contribs) 21:37, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- You were probably high. --Bentonia School 14:59, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Is it even possible to be considered an Advanced Student of the Bass Guitar, let alone Mastering in three months? Given, Wolfgang comes from an incredibly talented family and has phenomenal musicians to jam with and learn from but Master? Did he manage this over summer vacation or is he a true musical genesis on par with his namesake? (Mozart for those of you not following along) Has anything been published about his tremendous affinity for the Bass Guitar? Can anyone who teaches/has taught Bass guitar enlighten me on this or is something published in ‘Musical Genius Magazine’ that I’ve missed? I’m all for the father, son and uncle feel good angle to the future of VH but some claims are just preposterous.joliver375 (talk) 20:26, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
I doubt he was born in 1991
Born March of 1991 ? uhh.. no. I was listening to VH way before that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.38.194.13 (talk) 23:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
dude, you're fuckin stupid. it is eddie van halen's kid. you obviously don't know shit about van halen. you listened to michael anthony, the old bass player, who wolfgang replaced in 2007. -RASS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.209.107.57 (talk) 22:13, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Is someone really this stupid? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.228.210 (talk) 03:36, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
68.198.112.113 (talk) 02:30, 22 August 2010 (UTC) How retarded can one get?
Now, hang on a second, guys. He might be right. I know for sure that I was listening to Van Halen in the early 1970's. How many musicians have you heard of that bring their son into their band. It's crazy talk. If you ask me, we should completely delete this article. 24.47.251.142 (talk) 22:52, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Citation Needed?
Why is a citation needed to prove Alex Van Halen is his uncle?
Also, no picture? --jthm_guitarist
Influences
Wolfgang was very inspired by Lady Gaga growing up. We should include that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.198.112.113 (talk) 15:45, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
