"Stronger"
Song
A-side"Angels with Dirty Faces"

"Stronger" is a song written by Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, Marius de Vries, Felix Howard, Jony Rockstar, and Heidi Range for the Sugababes' second studio album Angels with Dirty Faces. It was produced by Rockstar, and released as the album's third single as a double A-side with "Angels with Dirty Faces" on 4 November 2002. The single reached #7 on the UK Singles Chart, part of a string of successful singles from the Angels with Dirty Faces album. The song has sold 126,739 copies in the UK alone. The song reached the top 10 in the Netherlands and Norway, and while it entered the top forty on most charts it appeared on, "Stronger" also peaked within the top 20 in Belgium, Denmark, and Ireland.

Music video

In the first scene, Mutya Buena drives away in a car through the town in London at midnight on a rainy day and Mutya Buena boils up enough courage to leave her superstar boyfriend. When the car stops at the traffic lights, Buena gets out of the car and walks out, leaving her boyfriend behind yelling at her. The car drives away, leaving her boyfriend behind in the back of the car boot. In Keisha Buchanan's scene, she can be seen at a "support group" in one of their classes in a college as a school with a chalk board in the background that reads "Heartbroken Anonymous". She confesses things, while the group nod in unison to where the sports hall is. She gets up and leaves. In Heidi Range's scene part she is a stripper at the nightclub disco being naked with a swimming pool, doing pole-dancing and like Buena, acts up the courage and leaves her profession, then she throws the microphone into the water and celebrates, saying she is "stronger". The video is interspersed with clips of all three sugababes at an open-air swimming pool, mixing with other people there. They sit on deck chairs, on the steps, having a shower, walking beside a fence and more. There are also underwater shots of three small girls, each one resembling one of the sugababes, learning to swim.
