Kehunia is a village located in West Champaran district of Bihar state, India. Kehunia has its own Gram Panchayat, a middle school, a high school, a primary health centre. Main occupation here is agriculture. This village has highly fertile agricultural land producing many crops. Late Shri Krishna Kumar Mishra (Ex. MLA and Minister, Bihar Govt.) and his brothers have contributed to the development of this village. Shri Dinesh Kumar Mishra, (Retired Headmaster) of Kehunia high school has continuously made effort in uprising the educational standard and infrastructure of the high school. Mishra family is synonymous with this village. Saheb Mishra and Kamla Kant Mishra had led the foundation of development of this village which is being carried forward by their sons and grandsons.
