The band Harvest.

Hello Steveund,

I saw your userpage and am wondering if you are familiar with the band Harvest. I am wondering what you know of their history. Do you have any sources that refer to the band that could be used to enhance their Wikipedia article? I would really appreciate any help in this regard.

Do you know if the band ever had a song that was a charted hit on any national music chart? I know that the band had some popular songs, but I don't have access to the past charts.

Where you might especially be able to help me out is if you know if Harvest meets WP:MUSIC Criteria for musicians and ensembles criteria #5. This criteria states that a band is notable if it "has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable)." Do you know if Benson Records meets this criteria? I saw that you have edited the Benson Records article and hope you might have some insight into this.

Thanks for any help,

I reverted the unexplained reversion [1] you made on The Lighthouse Boys. Like my edit summary said please read Template:Infobox_Musical_artist#Origin and WP:MOSFLAG before you add flagicons to any group or band's infobox.

Also as a side note, you should use the edit summary box to let other editors know why you made the changes you made. Aspects (talk) 15:32, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Tlb1980.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Tlb1980.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Tlb1980.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Petra (band)

I like what you've been doing on the Petra (band) article, although removing the fans sites caused me a bit of grief :( Do you have more precise dates for the album and video releases? That information would help with the timeline I created. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:24, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to put the fan sites into a Ref style, having trouble making that edit. Maybe you can do that, Wiki is wanting the links cleaned up for some reason. As far as dates go for everything, all I have is years they were released, and those are well detailed in all the Petra fan sites and other music historical sites as well as the credits and liner notes to all of the Petra albums and Videos. --User:Steveund 7 May 2010

Not all of the fan sites can fit in as refs. Some would not pass WP:V or WP:EL. Not sure where you're getting the date for Captured in Time and Space. The Petra site [2] indicates 1984, which seems right in my memory, and the article indicates 1985. I was surprised when the video wasn't released at the same time as the album, so the date of 1986 seems right. I'll check my vinyl and CD dates when I get home though. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:04, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Captured in Time and Space (c) date states 1986, the album was released after the "Beat the System" Tour in 1985 and says in the recording "Beat the System Tour 1985" --User:Steveund 7 May 2010

The article Charles "Rusty" Goodman has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Wayne Durham

Saw you contribution rank[3] and thought I would post here. Wayne Durham is having issues with his brother's Wikipedia article. Please consider replying to Wayne at COIN. Thanks. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 05:06, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can only say to take it up with Bobby and Sandee, you need to work out your problems in private anyway, I was asked to clear up the page and was given the info from them. I have done my best to include wayne now in the new revision, the edits that Wayne or who ever has been trying to edit the page has been leaving the article a mess and only comes off as someone trying to discredit and push their way onto an article about Bobby, try posting a page about Wayne or the Durham Brothers instead of trying to mess with Bobby's. --Steveund
