Kamasutra 3D is an upcoming international movie to be directed by Rupesh Paul. The film is based on Vātsyāyana's Kama Sutra, the sacred Indian sex manual.The movie is all set in the backdrop of the real historical milieu and is produced under the banner of RPPL and is directed by Rupesh Paul. Cinematography will be done by Sapan Narula. It is an Indo-US coproduction movie.
The movie has been announced at Cannes Film Festival 2012, by Rupesh Paul- the director of the movie, after the premiere of his Hollywood movie, Saint Dracula 3D, at the festival.[1] Kamasutra 3D first look was revelaed on November 7,2012.[2]The first look of Kamasutra 3D, was unveiled at NFDC's film bazaar on November 22,2012 which is being held on the sidelines of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2012 in Goa.[3] The Kamasutra 3D - Photo Shoot Video with Sherlyn Chopra was revelead on January 19,2013.According to Kerala-born director Rupesh Paul "Kamasutra 3D would be the first in the 'Kamasutra' trilogy and the second and the third would be 4D and 5D respectively"

Synopsis
The story revolves around a young and beautiful Indian princess, who sets out on a voyage in search of her husband whom she got married to as a child.Amidst the extravaganzas of the most luxurious ship in the world, she goes through the most personal and transformative changes of body, mind and soul. An enigmatic fellow passenger – the god of good looks and the ‘Kamasutra’ master- introduces her to the forbidden world of sexual love and sensuality.[citation needed]
Production
Filming
The shooting is supposed to commence on 15 November 2012, in locations in India.[needs update] One schedule will be in Universal Studios, Hollywood US.[6] The cast would include foreigners as well as stars from the Indian film industry and the auditions are being held,according to reliable sources.[7] The shoot is scheduled to begin on 15 June.[needs update] The technical crew would consist of the best 3D personnel from the United Kingdom. The movie will be shot in France, Italy, United Kingdom, Indian sets, et cetera. The movie is going to be a French-Indian co production, under the banner of Rupesh Paul Productions Limited (RPPL). The movie is already registered with the Motion Picture Association of America as well as the Writers Guild of America.[citation needed]
