Disclosure are a garage-house duo consisting of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. The siblings grew up in Reigate, Surrey, with an extensive background in music.[1] They supported SBTRKT and Hot Chip on their recent 2012 tours. Their single "Latch" featuring Sam Smith reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart.

Music Career

2010-11: Breakthrough

The duo released their first single "Offline Dexterity" on Moshi Moshi records on 29 August 2010, followed by another single 'Carnival/I Love...That You Know' on indie label Transparent Records on 13 June 2011 as well as giving away a free EP including other tracks, "Blue You", "My Intention is War" and "Just Your Type".

2012-present: Past releases and debut album

On 30 January 2012 they released the single "Tenderly / Flow" picking up their first bulk of national radio support. On 1 June 2012 they released their EP The Face on London/Berlin based label Greco-Roman, to critical acclaim. One of the most popular remixes created by the duo is "Running" by Jessie Ware. The remix was popular during Summer 2012, with it being included on the annual edition of Annie Mac Presents. The duo performed at many festivals over the summer with Jessie Ware appearing on stage in many of them, including Ibiza and Bestival. On 8 October 2012 they released the single "Latch", featuring vocalist Sam Smith. On 14 October 2012, the single entered the UK Singles Chart at number 26, climbing to number 11. Their debut studio album is set for release in March 2013.[citation needed] Disclosure were also voted for the Hot Ten For 2013 by BBC Radio 1xtra.
