On Feb 13, 2011 you added this to Canard (aeronautics): "A canard design is inherently less controllable than a tailplane design because the ailerons can not be located on the canards (the lever arm is too short and the twisting motion is too far forwards of the center of mass) and ailerons located on the main wing are subject to turbulence from the canards that varies widely at different Angle of attack". Anderson, Seth B. "the twisting motion is too far forwards of the center of mass", doesn't sound right, sourced or not. I haven't found the phrase in the reference doc yet. Could we trim that statement out? --Stodieck (talk) 21:36, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Made an exact quote with page number. Hcobb (talk) 22:22, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ah. I have been looking at the wrong doc. A result of the lines recent relocation on this page. I don't have access to the Clancy book. Still sounds fishy. Will keep looking. --Stodieck (talk) 00:33, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed link to NASA tech doc with exact quote. Hcobb (talk) 01:06, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bingo! Thanks. --Stodieck (talk) 03:14, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Hcobb. You have new messages at Talk:Duncan D. Hunter.

The article Robert L. Maginnis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no coverage in multiple reliable sources independent of the subject.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. That spelling makes it redirect to the wrong page. Other possible solution? Apparently, the spelling that sounds more like 'coal-in' is more accurate? 71.196.246.113 (talk) 19:51, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
