Thunderbird

Take your source and what you are trying to insert to the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. It doesn't sound like a WP:RELIABLE source for this information to me, and almost certainly does not pass our policies on WP:FRINGE. If you disagree take it to the noticeboard and ask for other opinions. Heiro 22:19, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Thunderbird (mythology). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Take to the discussion board I pointed you to and do not edit war over this. Thank you, Heiro 22:23, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi fellow, can you read me here? Page reference 126... this book is really very important tribal wisdom to new-age thinkers. The information is well-referenced, I believe. And from the book. Please, let this stay up for the folks, I don't believe in religious censorship.

Hey fella, feel me, please go read our policies on WP:FRINGE, WP:UNDUE and WP:RELIABLE. :-) Heiro 22:31, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that our articles are supposed to be written from scholarly sources, and this book doesn't look to be close to scholarly — correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like it's just the words of the grandmothers tied together. Can you find scholarly sources (e.g. academic journals, books published by university presses) that back up what the grandmothers have said? If so, please cite some of those books (either a link to something like Amazon or a full citation without a link) at the article's talk page, and if not, please don't attempt to restore the content to that page. Thank you, Nyttend. User:Heironymous Rowe has just been bringing me up to some of the standards of Wikipedia's referencing and editing policies. Me, I am very enthusiastic about this article because I have been following the Thunderbird closely for 6 months or more and am one of the foremost experts on them.... We are near agreement on some edits that can be made using International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. I apologize for the name-calling, Heiro. In any case, I'll get my own account rather than this collective IP address. User:EM_Che via Sudo Room.

Thunderbird (mythology)

Personal attacks

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:Thunderbird (mythology). If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Per this "Please, let me add to our oral history! SOURCE, ASSHOLE TROLL COP ROWE".[1] Repeat this behavior, and I take this to the admin boards to seek a block of your IP. Heiro 18:10, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Calling me an asshole here [2] does not help. Do not repeat this behavior again Read WP:NPA. And please do not edit archived pages, if you want to revist this, start a new thread at WP:RSN. Heiro 18:15, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for the name-calling, Heiro. I have been following this symbol for months since December, and so that is why I am just hoping to bring integrity to it's page. Can we collaborate with? using International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, in the article Thunderbird (mythology), adding "gifted with the great power of sight and was able to transmit telepathically ancient wisdom and knowledge in prehistoric times," and "According to ancient legends, the world will know a time of balance, and amazing things will be able to happen when the Thunderbirds come home" This style definitely meets Wikipedia's policy and norms VIA [[3]] and WP:RELIABLE I will make my own account if User:Heironymous Rowe continues to attack me. EM CHE. And for peace, do not ban this IP... this is a collective hackerspace computer where we work on our own wiki.

Do you mean to cite the other wikipedia article for the 13 grandmothers? No definitely not, you can not cite Wikipedia articles. See WP:CIRCULAR. Heiro 18:22, 14 May 2013 (UTC) Find relaible academic mainstream sources. Heiro 18:22, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
