The Shop.org Annual Summit event consists of 2 1/2 days of keynote presentations, educational tracks in subjects such as omnichannel retail, mobile, strategic marketing and customer acquisition, small group roundtable discussions, digital boot camp, and an EXPO featuring more than 200 solution providers.

Shop.org was founded in 1996, and is the world's leading membership community for digital retail. It is a division of the National Retail Federation. Shop.org has over 700 members, including the 10 largest retailers in the U.S. and more than 60 percent of the Internet Retailer Top 100 E-Retailers. Members include Walmart, Amazon.com, Facebook and IBM Corporation.[1]
The Shop.org Annual Summit, founded in 2002, is its largest and most important event, attracting more than 4,400 Internet and multi-channel retail leaders from large and small companies in the US, Canada and a dozen other countries. This summit is held at a different trade show venue each year.

History
The Shop.org Annual Summit has been growing since its inception. In 2005,a then record-breaking 1,500 online retail executives attended the summit.[7]. In 2006, there were 2,200 attendees[8].
Shop.org’s 2007 Annual Summit featured 146 exhibiting companies, occupying 20,200 net square feet, (as compared to 12,136 net square feet in 2006.) [9]
Awards
On April 24, 2013, the world’s premiere online resource for trade show and event industry news, Trade Show News Network, recently announced that the 2012 Shop.org Annual Summit (#243) made the coveted list of Top 250 Trade Shows, totaling 37,800 net square feet. This list represents the top trade events held each year within the United States and is ranked by net square footage.
