Intel Capital (www.intelcapital.com) is Intel Corporation’s[1] global investment and M&A organization. Intel Capital makes equity investments in innovative technology start-ups and companies worldwide.[2] Intel Capital is stage agnostic and invests in a broad range of companies offering hardware, software, and services targeting enterprise, mobility, consumer Internet, digital media and semiconductor manufacturing. Since 1991, Intel Capital has invested more than US$10.8 billion in over 1,280 companies in 54 countries. In that timeframe over 200 portfolio companies have gone public on various exchanges around the world and over 325 were acquired or participated in a merger. [3]

International Investing

Intel Capital has dramatically expanded its non-U.S. investing. International investing increased from less than five percent of Intel Capital’s investment dollars in 1998 to about 57% in 2012. Intel Capital has invested in companies headquartered in 54 different countries on six continents.[4] Intel Capital has 26 offices all over the world.
