Beyond (simplified Chinese: X元素) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which has been telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It made its debut on 24 Dec 2012. This drama serial consists of 20 episodes, and will be screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm.
Plot
Welcome to the realm of the unexplained, where things are not exactly what they seem and where one can get sucked into an alternative reality.
Jeanette Aw plays the protagonist gifted with the extraordinary ability to see a person as he is inside. Together with Li Nan Xing, who plays an eccentric Private Investigator in search of his missing fiancée, the duo brave challenges as they seek to unravel mysteries of the unknown dimensions.
The intriguing investigative drama also stars Pierre Pkmkmng, Shaun Chen and Xiang Yun.

- This drama's Chinese title was originally meant to be called 异能元素.
- Li Nanxing's 2012 drama after On the Fringe.
- Jeanette Aw's first breakthrough drama after cancelling her role in Absolutely Charming.
- Filming for this drama started on end Apr 2012[1] and completed its filming in early Jul 2012. As there will be special effects used in this drama, it will be broadcast at the end of the year. This results in filming the show at an early period. As this drama will continue to run till January 2013, the drama may be nominated in some categories in Star Awards 2014.[2]
- This is Dennis Chew's return to acting on TV after 10 years. His last acting commitment on TV was the sitcom My Genie 2 in 2002.
- Pierre Png and Li Nanxing will play two roles. They will also be playing as their roles' inner soul.
- Jeanette Aw will also play two roles as Zhiqing. She will play in both the real dimension and the alternate dimension.
- Wenbin plays the guitar. 爱到 and 一个地方 sung by Lin Yu Zhi (林昱志) were played as inserts as Wenbin sings.
- Episode 19's ending shot was suddenly changed to episode 18's ending shot at the copyright.
