Philip Klapwijk is Managing Director of Precious Metals Insights Limited a precious metals markets consultancy based in Hong Kong. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on precious metals and commodities and the print and electronic media regularly quote his views on the gold, silver and PGMs markets. In the 2009 London bullion market LBMA Forecast Philip Klapwijk took the prizes for most accurate forecaster for both gold and silver prices.

Philip Klapwijk was previously Executive Chairman and Global Head of Metals Analytics of GFMS (formerly Gold Fields Mineral Services) a precious metals consultancy specialising in global gold, silver, platinum and palladium market research that since 2011 has been part of Thomson Reuters.[1].

Philip Klapwijk holds degrees in economics from the London School of Economics and the College of Europe, Bruges.
