Green Valley Ranch resort and spa is a resort spa and casino located in the Green Valley planned community in Henderson, Nevada. It is owned by Station Casinos and The Greenspun Corporation (TGC), with each entity holding a 50% stake.

The property offers 8 restaurants, a 50,000 ft² (4,500 m²) casino, a The Dolphin Court Grand Spa and 490 guest rooms.

While a locals casino, the property draws many out-of-town visitors.

History

On November 21, 2003, Michael Jackson stayed at the hotel after cruising the Las Vegas area streets while getting away from the legal problems he faced in Santa Barbara, California.

The District at Green Valley Ranch was added as a multi-use project. The property includes retail stores on the first level and luxury condominums on the upper levels. The Perlman Design Group designed the project.

Movie history

American Casino, a television series for the Discovery Channel was filmed here in 2004.
