I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on EP (BrightSide EP). I do not think that EP (BrightSide EP) fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because "received positive reviews from various Greek e-magazines and internet radio stations" is a claim of significance. I request that you consider not re-tagging EP (BrightSide EP) for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. I have therefore declined the speedy deletion. I have provided several links from independent Greek sites that are referring to the band and reviewing its EP. Is this not enough? I have also done that for EP (BrightSide EP) which is the EP of the band. What seems to be the problem? I think my links cover the first criterion for musicians and ensembles WP:BAND. Am I wrong? IndiePostPunk (talk) 19:31, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of examples from Java Database Connectivity since you say it is a HOWTO WP:NOTHOWTO

They are examples. Not a HOWTO. But if you think you are providing value removing this information from Wikipedia, go ahead and also remove similar sections from programming languages like Java (programming language), Go (programming language) and Ruby (programming language)

Will you be coherent? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.103.151.6 (talk) 15:15, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Is this refrence enough to reverse http://yourstory.in/2013/10/salarpuria-bijay-agarwal/ In India many known or famous personalities are still not listed because of references or suitable authenticated sources online but it doesn't mean that are not notable person .. Think about it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bishwa 777 (talkcontribs) 16:00, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:WTAF. Without requiring people to be notable in Wikipedia terms we just end up with huge lists of peoples names. And having read the article in thisweekbangalore - it reads like his own PR people wrote that. noq (talk) 18:36, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You might be right, but a person from Kishanganj (a remote village in Bihar) has reached to this height .. now a biggest real estate player, also in to aerospace and education. http://www.sattvagroup.in/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bishwa 777 (talkcontribs) 06:23, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me.

Why can't use Amwys own website to support that claim?Manzzzz(talk) 13:50, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Because companies make exaggerated claims about their own products noq (talk) 13:53, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know? It may be real. This claim show in advertising of Amway in televisions in Thailand. Manzzzz(talk) 14:23, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know that the claims are accurate? You can't take Amways word for it - we need some independent verification of the claim. noq (talk) 14:39, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Noq, could you please check out the comments section of the Carissa F. Etienne, in response to your edits, and, if you agree, remove the disclaimers?

Noq, the actions taken to fix the page are described in the TALK section of Carissa F. Etienne's page. Could you kindly remove the disclaimers? Thanks Shayer 21:08, 17 November 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shayer (talkcontribs)

You deleted many of the names of most of the previous members of Ten Tenors as "unsourced"

Here are just some sources. There are many:

And you put them back without adding sources - people reading that page are unlikely to come here for references. Besides that, what is the encyclopaedic purpose of including this list of people that might have sung with them at some point. noq (talk) 09:48, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The sources are above. If you feel they need to be added, help yourself. Why list previous members? Why list former Presidents or baseball team members, or who hosted the Academy Awards on any given year? Because it is factual information. If someone wants to know if Bob Jones has ever been a member of the Ten Tenors, they could look in this section. I didn't create this section, by the way. If you feel a list of previous members is inappropriate, then suggest it be eliminated. Phil Konstantin (talk) 21:59, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Book cited[edit]

Noq - the book cited is the major book on the topic. I have edited continually entries on the Dominatrix over some years, including all the major publications put out by Danielle Lindemann, Andrew Wilson et al. The new Nomis book had been known about amongst the Dominatrix scene for some time, and published in the largest Dominatrix magazine in the world some 6 months ago. It includes original source material, archives, all meticulously referenced. It is now going to reprint by Uni Oxford Press. It's on I believe every major university course list on the topic, including Birkbeck, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard etc. You originally deleted as you claimed you couldn't find the book with ISBN. The ISBN is listed on Amazon, Nielsen, every book publisher in the world. There is another book by a Dominatrix and PhD psychologist named Ilsa Strix (psuedonym / Mistress name) about to come out, which was written 6 years ago as a PhD thesis, and is about to be published, and this will be the other major publication on the topic and on BDSM, and comes from a psychology basis. This will also be listed and picked up by every academic, and most academics are aware of this book about to come out also. I would suggest before you delete books claiming you can't find an ISBN, you might want to check a bit more thoroughly. And refer to Wikipedia guidelines on Notabiity, references etc.Scholarlyfemme (talk) 00:21, 9 January 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scholarlyfemme (talkcontribs)
