Michael Joseph Roads, born on April 14, 1937 is a UK-born resident of Australia is an a author of numerous essays, articles, books and best selling books including Talking with Nature - Journey Into Nature, Journey Into Oneness and Into a Timeless Realm. His more recent books include the award-winning novel Getting There, The Magic Formula, More Than Money - True Prosperity, the Oracle, Conscious Gardening, and his latest book, Through the Eyes of Love, Journeying with Pan. Michael's books are translated into 16 languages.

2014 marks his 23rd year of traveling around the world giving profound and hugely popular talks and 5-day Intensives on unconditional Love and emotional balance. He offers clear metaphysical insights and relates his unique, experiential truth in a powerful, no-nonsense format, offering pathways to our deep spiritual connection with Nature, with Self, and with awakening to our Divine potential.

Michael’s public speaking tours have included invitations to Australia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, South Africa, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, West Indies, U.S.A., Canada, Singapore and Japan.

Biography

Michael J. Roads born in April 14, 1937 is a farmer's son from Cambridge. Michael and his late wife Treenie both grew up in farming families, and continued farming after their marriage in 1958. Michael discovered at an early age he had the natural ability to communicate with nature and go beyond linear time and space. In 1963 they immigrated to Australia with their two children, farmed in [[Tasmania [Tasmania]], the Island State of Australia, and had two more children. Michael was a beef and dairy farmer, and prominent in the early organic movement. He wrote the first book on Organic Gardening in Australia, which was an immediate best seller

Driven by a powerful desire for spiritual growth they left Tasmania in 1976 to travel around Australia. This was a time of challenge, inner growth and dynamic change. In 1977 Michael started an intentional community Homeland Homeland Foundation website with a group of like-minded people. It was during this time that Michael connected with the inner metaphysical expression of Nature.

In 1986, after months of suffering from debilitating physical pain with no recovery in sight, Michael experienced a profound transformation of consciousness. His chronic disabilities were healed within twenty minutes, as a door to higher consciousness, mystical cognition, and a holistic state of Oneness opened into his awareness. After shifting into this ever-expanding state of Self-Realisation and after becoming spiritually awakened in 1986, his life dramatically changed from farming in Australia to writing books and traveling over five continents as a spiritual teacher. Michael describes this as "the ever-expanding falling in love with Self." The nine years of intense metaphysical activity leading up to and including his dramatic Awakening are documented in his books. As a result of Michael's experience and the popularity of his books, he began conducting retreats and seminars in 1990. His world tours have included more then 20 countries on 3 continents .

Since Treenie's transition a new era has begun. Carolyn, a long-time friend, has become his new, beloved wife. He has learned that his inner journey of loss and grief was designed to bring him to a new, deeper experience of Love, and to share this Love with the world. Together with Carolyn, this is now his life's purpose and his joy.

For over twenty years Michael has been travelling the world presenting seminars and Five-day Intensives on Universal Love, attaining higher consciousness and the meaning of life. He is a gifted communicator, teaching from his own experiences and direct knowing. He catches the hearts of people with unique frankness, a great sense of humour and effortless ease, creating a safe and nurturing environment for spiritual growth. Michael imparts Truth heart to heart, far beyond the reach of words. Universal Love and attaining higher consciousness can only be truly shared and expressed by someone living in that enlightened state. In this way Michael's very energy opens doors that a multitude of concepts could not achieve.

When not traveling, Michael and Carolyn live in a beautiful subtropical part of Queensland, Australia, enjoying their home, family, extensive gardens, ponds and goldfish and turtles and lizards and water dragons.

He talks mainly about Love. Not the be-nice-to-each-other-love, but the overwhelming, breath taking, all encompassing and total Love that blows the mind. After an early life of bumps, bruises and tough lessons, he began his spiritual path. He developed himself and taught himself to travel in his 'Light body' without his physical body, wrote a series of best-selling books, and taught whole tribes of people how to `talk' with Nature. Then, all of a sudden there came the discovery of Love with a capital 'L' . . . Unconditional Love. He describes this Love with inspiring enthusiasm.
