Dr.Panda's is a series of Educational Video Games created by Dutch-Chinese video game developer TribePlay Providing a broad variety of topics from daily life, Dr. Panda games focus on teaching kids life skills.

Inspired primarily by Chengdu’s Giant pandas, the first doctor panda game was released for Apple’s iOS and Android in 2012. Over 15 million copies have been purchased from Apple’s App store , Amazon and Google’s Playstore. Since the first game 12 more games were released, of which Dr. Panda’s Airport was the most successful game.

Dr.Panda's Restaurant 2

Dr. Panda's Restaurant 2 is the sequel of Dr. Panda's Restaurant and it is TribePlay's latest game for smartphones and tablets. The game takes place in a restaurant setting and it was designed to teach kids about kitchen tools and cooking dishes by using many different kinds of ingredients.

Dr.Panda's Busdriver

Dr. Panda's Bus driver is a game where kids learn more about the basics of traffic as they drive their own bus through a large, detailed world filled. The game features a randomly generated world with an assortment of sights to see and things to interact with, offering players a new experience every time they pick up their smartphone or tablet to play. During the ride, the player is expected to pick up animals and set them off at their destinations. [1]

Dr.Panda's Airport

Dr. Panda's Airport is one of TribePlay’s bestselling games in the Dr. Panda series on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. The game takes place in an airport setting. TribePlay has stated in interviews that the game was developed because going to an airport and flying can be overwhelming for kids, the game aims to show every aspect of the airport in a friendly and inviting manner. Dr. Panda´s Airport has 10 mini games that explore various parts of the airport.

The Dr. Panda games have currently surpassed 15 million downloads. [10]

“We are regularly reaching the top of the app stores in the U.S. and Europe, which are our biggest markets,” TribePlay CEO Thijs Bosma told GamesBeat[11] Bosma credits the company’s work on developing Dr. Panda as a character for its booming performance. “What we see with every title that we launch is that we gather a bigger user base because they recognize the brand and the Dr. Panda name,” he said. “We get kids familiar with how stuff works in the real world. I think this approach is very popular with parents. These educational values are very important.”
