Suspected sockpuppets
  • Koolstar: first edit was to create DONT QUIT YOUNGISTAAN, a duplicate of an article created by puppeteer, currently in AFD following several speedy deletions under other spellings, all created by puppeteer. Second edit was re-adding unsourced information to the BLP Neeraj Shrivastava, also created by puppeteer: [1]

I agree and take responsibility that I did this mistake of sockpuppets.I am accused and guilty. You may please block all the above user names.I am new to Wikipedia and now I realize my mistake.I thought user Ruby Murray is specifcallt targeting my articles.I am ashamed and sorry for such thinking and action. Please block all user Ids.I would me more responsible in future — Preceding unsigned comment added by Koolstar (talkcontribs) 05:20, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets
  • JonaQwer: account created 7 March.
    • On fourth day, once autoconfirmed, he is trying out various administrative tasks like declining and approving AFCs.
    • On 11 March, he prods DONT QUIT YOUNGISTAAN 3 minutes after sockpuppet User:Koolstar creates it [9], with the rationale "Not understand-able, short, no pictures and no links (links are optional)", on an article that was perfectly understandable and had many links and references.
    • His next edit 3 hours later, after I've redirected that duplicate to Don't quit... youngistan, and notified puppeteer and socks of SPI, is an attempt to speedy Don't quit... youngistan as A3.[10]
    • After I revert that with an explanation at his talk page, I get a thankyou cookie at my talk page[11].
    • Nine minutes later, he opens an RFA for himself [12], then immediately asks for my support [13], and announces his candidacy at both his talk page and user page.
    • The RFA is plainly not going well [14], so his last edits on 12 March were to remove the AFD template from Don't quit... youngistan [15], as User:Mickymichaelmonty had tried the day before, then immediately ask for semi-protection of the page [16], with the rationale "Somebody added random tags somewhy".
    • On 11 March, puppeteer added the adminstats template to his user page [17].
    • On 12 March, just before his temporary block for sockpuppetry, puppeteer tried to add his support to JonahQwer's RFA [18], despite the fact that JonahQwer has tried twice to delete puppeteer's articles for no good reason.
    • An hour later, puppeteer posts a heartfelt apology at my talk page for the sockpuppetry [19], similar to the apologies posted above, and blanks his own user page.
Puppeteer has plainly been trying to build up a candidate sockpuppet for an admin account for a few days, but then hit the accelerator once he saw that his attempts at sockpuppetry had been detected. Reviewing admins might reasonably ask at this point why a sockpuppet would try to prod and speedy his own articles: the answer is that the puppeteer is now concerned that the AFD and deletion notices showing up in a Google search are insulting: [20], [21], Talk:Swatantra Sarode. There are other similarities in the edits of the two accounts, so if the above evidence isn't enough, I can provide further diffs. Ruby Murray 11:13, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment 14 March, JonaQwer resumed editing, and posted a denial at my talk page that he's a sockpuppet of Samshersinghbeniyaaz, "(if Samshersinghbeniyaaz did not hack me of course)" [22]. Ruby Murray 11:14, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I have said that I am not a puppet of him in your talk page, it seems I need to repeat myself again, so I repeat here that I am not a puppet of him. Ruby Murray: you probably made a mistake, I am not attacking you. I'm sorry if it seems a bit like it in what I said. Full respect, JonaQwer (talk) 11:34, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
