'bout me.
I'm a socialist liberal (read: Left wing liberal if you are in the States) born in Canada. I currently support the NDP even though they are consistently 3rd or 4th overall. I'm of above average height and look like a terrorist at times.
For much more general information, look to the right.
Wikipedia Policies I enforce.
I'm a user against vandalism, although I have not and plan to not join any groups that combat it. I am not an administrator, although having such power would propably corrupt me.
So far, I have been engaged in 1 long term edit war, on the article Moon for sale and surrounding articles. It has since been redirected. Some of the topics discussed can be seen on the redicted page, though. However, this edit war was directed over nonneutral point of view edits that have since been resolved.
During that edit war, my page was vandalised twice, by an AOL user.
I attempt to enforce adherance to Wikipedia policies by other users, for example please see the User: Hell userbox for some examples.
Contribution style
I'll contribute to most articles if there is a way I can improve them. For example, I may add a table to a page or copyedit it.
I have created two articles, Adiamante and Newton's Wake: A Space Opera, which per Wikipedia policy have been edited mercilessly.
How I contribute
I use Windows XP, Firefox, and occasionally Google to contribute to Wikipedia.
Personal views
I'm a liberal adherent of anglicanism, an offshoot of protestantism, and somewhere on the line between Protestant and Catholic.
However, I'm pretty sure I'm going to purgatory, or worse. Why? My views are such that those who occupy no religion or "not christian", who have done good in the world deserve a post-mortem paradise. Of course, few people within the baptist church I occassionally attend agree with that.
Also, I view the bible as a political statement at times, with Gnostic Gospels being "Gnostic" because they didn't support Christianity.
Opinions
I'll try not to bring these out to much, as they can get in my way, but you know, sometimes it must be done. Check 'em out at Essays.
Sadly, my first one is on userboxes. I'm so sorry.
Habits
I play the Baritone horn, the keyboard (very poorly), and I am currently writing a novel. I enjoy playing Command and Conquer games, specifically the mods Halogen and Shockwave.
Thanks for reading!!!
