Bhavya Gandhi(born on 20 June 1997) is a child artist who plays the role of Tipendra Jethalal Gada (known as Tapu) in the comedy series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV.[1] He is shown as the ten-year old son of Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Daya (Disha Vakani). Tapu is shown to be intelligent and sportive, but naughty and mischievous. Gandhi also played the role of child lead Suryakant in the film Striker.

Personal life

Gandhi lives in Mumbai with his parents in Mumbai. He is Jain by religion. Bhavya in real life is cousin of Samay Shah, who plays his on-screen friend Gurucharan Singh Sodhi(Gogi). He got paid 2.5 million (US$30,000) per year for his acting in serial in 2013.
