Any sources?
Are there any sources that refer to "cap n ball" systems as Caplock? I've always heard them referred to as Percussion. --Philip Laurence (talk) 00:30, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Overlap
The article has much overlap which Percussion cap. Anyone editing here should take care what information should go into which article. Maybe even a merger would be a good idea... --BjKa (talk) 11:17, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
Invention of Mercury Fulminate
The article says the caplock system was patented in 1807, but the link to mercuy fulminate says it wasn't used in firearms until after 1830. Is this correct?
