Omer Michael Jamal Bhatti (born June 14, 1984 in Drammen) is a Norwegian rapper and dancer. He goes by the stage nameO-Bee.[1] He is also known for his friendship to the deceased pop star Michael Jackson.[2]
Background
Bhatti was born in Drammen, Norway, and grew up in Holmlia. He is child of a Norwegian mother and a Pakistani father, whom both have worked with Michael Jackson.[3]
Career
In winter 2011 he signed a deal with Universal and released the single "All Around the World", launching in 67 countries.[4] The song features singer Genevieve Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson's youngest brother, Steven Randy Jackson. In this regard, he was a guest on the TV show Skavlan.[5] He also released the single "Life Is a Movie" with his first official music video, directed by Kavar Singh, in August 2011.[6] In September 2012 he released a music video for the single "See The Light" with singer Shontelle.[7] For the 2013 season, he will be one of four judges in the Norwegian Britain's Got Talent-inspired talent show Norske Talenter.[8]
