Casper Bisgaard Sloth (born 26 March 1992 in Aarhus) is a Danish professional football midfielder, who currently plays for the Danish First Division side Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF). He is a technically skilled and creative midfielder, with vision and ability to both up the tempo and hold on to the ball.[1] He has played five games for the Denmark national football team.

Biography

Sloth made his AGF senior debut in the Danish Superliga championship on December 7, 2009, aged 17. The game was 1-1 draw with Esbjerg fB at AGF's NRGi Park stadium.[2] On May 1, 2010 he opened his scoring account for AGF with 2 goals in a 4-1 match against Silkeborg IF.[3] In October 2012 he was voted Superliga Player of the Month.[4]

Casper Sloth has also played more than 30 games for various Danish youth selections, including 8 games for the Denmark national under-21 football team.[5] On November 14, 2012 he made his debut for the senior Danish national team in a friendly game in Istanbul against the Turkey national football team. Sloth played the first half in a game which ended 1-1, and was hailed as one of Denmark's best players of the game.[6]
