Please note that regarding your comment "THE SOLE PURPOSE OF WIKIPEDIA IS TO BE INFORMATIVE. Entry deletions should not be based on whether an entry is "important," "relevant," or "notable" because those categorizations are subjectively and arbitrarily determined by the person who's searching for information at any given moment." That is the very opposite of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is first, and foremost, an encyclopedia which attempts to contain strictly encyclopedic material. Please see WP:NOT for what Wiki is not. Wikipedia is also not a compendium of pop culture. Articles must meet guidelines in order to establish notability of the topic. They must be well researched and based upon cited, verifiable, and reliable sources. Notability is key to making Wikipedia encyclopedic. It is not a journal of all things which are and have ever been or may be. --Strothra 15:42, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Sonia sanchez00001a.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Sonia sanchez00001a.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:06, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Daúde

The article Daúde has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles.
