The School of Islamic Sufism.

[1] Welcome to the website for Sufia Noorbakhshia, the School of Islamic Sufism. You are invited to learn about Sufism, its practices, and our this Sufi Order. The website is for all those who seek knowledge, spiritual solace, serenity and peace. It is an invitation to knowledge of one's true identity that transcends time and space, and through self-knowledge, to knowledge of the Divine Beloved, God.

The school of Islamic Sufism dates back 1400 years to the time of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and the Suffa institution. The Noorbakhshi Sufi path is the continuity of the mainstream Sufi order known as Maroofiya, Junediyeh, Suherverdiyeh, Kubraviyeh, Hamdaniyeh, and then Noorbakhshiyeh generally known as the Golden Chain or Silsila-tu-Zahab. These divisions and branches can be seen in the Sufism Genealogy from any authentic resource. Each branch of Sufi order has its own unique compositions of practices, preferences and styles of tazkia(purification).

On the website you will find articles about various aspects of Sufism, the Noorbakhshi Sufi school of thought, Islam, and the Holy Qur'an, the organizations connected with this Sufi order, our centers, and publications, as well as various activities and events.
