Hrabove or Grabove (Ukrainian: Грабове) is a village in Shakhtarsk Raion (district) in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine.[1] Its population was 1000 as of the 2001 Ukrainian census.[1]
Hrabove is located on the border between the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblast. The village is the site of the Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 crash on 17 July 2014, which was shot down in the region, killing all 298 onboard.[3]
