The bank no. is on American checks (cheques).

Bank No. on U. S. checks is the four digits before the final digit of the clearing-bank code; for example in |: 031000011 |:.[1] It is also found in the upper right corner of the check in the numerator[2]; for example, in 3-1/.[3] The second part in the numerator identifies the bank.[4]
